Shell Pasta in Burnt Butter Garlic Sauce

I have really never appreciated this sauce till date! Burnt butter garlic sauce! Can anything be simpler?!

After shitty day in office…i come back drenched…soaking wet because of Bangalore’s unpredictable rain…or actually its predictable…whenever you don’t have forgotten an umbrella, wearing your best shoes, white shirt and have just about a million things planned for the evening it rains! Anyways that aside. This pasta is so heartening and comforting that all your woes just fly by!!

It couldn’t get simpler!!2 minutes to boil the pasta and two minutes to make it!!And the best part it you get to burn your food and still enjoy it…

To veg it just put some eggplant (yes I am talking about BRINJAL), capsicum or zucchini. To non-veg it you can put just about anything. Personally I love prawn or sausage in it…I can’t stop thinking how pepperoni will taste in it?!

So here you go. Burn some butter, garlic, mixed herbs and toss the pasta in it… could be a good substitute to the quintessential life savior of all bachelors- Maggi!!

  • Garlic cloves-4-5
  • Butter-2 tablespoon
  • Mixed herbs
  • Prawns-4-5 pieces
  • Salt
  • Chilli flakes
  • Boiled pasta-1 bowl

  1. Heat the butter in a pan
  2. Add chopped garlic cloves and sauté.
  3. Add the prawns and cook till golden brown.
  4. Add the herbs, salt and Chili flakes.
  5. Combine with the cooked pasta and serve hot.
